An AI screening assistant that agrees with your senior recruiter (and shows the number)

What it takes to encode a senior recruiter's screening rules into a pack, measure the agreement on synthetic cases, and keep a human on every decision.

Recruitment is the clearest case for measured packs. Screening is a judgement call that senior recruiters make hundreds of times a week, it is a high-risk domain under the EU AI Act (Annex III, employment), and the cost of an agent that silently drifts from the recruiter’s standard is real: good candidates lost, bad shortlists, and no way to show a regulator why a decision was made.

What a screening pack contains

A screening pack is the senior recruiter’s confirmed rules, written as condition, action and exception, plus deterministic checks. Examples of the kind of rule such a pack holds: how to weigh a career gap against the role’s seniority; when a missing certificate is disqualifying and when it is a question for the interview; what counts as relevant experience for a role described in two languages. The rules come from the recruiter’s verdicts on synthetic cases, not from their mailbox.

Three things the pack never does: it never rejects a candidate on its own, it never infers emotion, personality or affect from text, and every outreach draft it produces carries the AI disclosure required by Art. 50.

How the agreement is measured

The recruiter judges synthetic candidate cards on a phone, ten minutes at a time. A fixed held-out set becomes the golden set. The same model is run twice without the pack to find the noise floor, then once with the pack. The page for the pack shows agreement before and after, the model, the golden set size and the date, and the run is repeated when the model changes. Below 30 golden cases or above a 10% noise floor the result is INDETERMINATE and no score is shown. The method is described in full in how verification works.

What the recruiter keeps

The decision. The pack prepares, ranks and explains; a named person approves every screening outcome, and the log keeps the inputs, the recommendation and the approval. That is what makes the pack usable in an Annex III domain, and it is also why the agreement number means something: it measures how often the recommendation matches the person who would have decided anyway.

Status

The first screening pack in this catalog is a Headframe demo built on synthetic cases only. It is listed as submitted; it will show a score when its verification run meets the thresholds above, not before. See the recruiter profession page.
